In 1102, Yaya, the elder sister of Jonah, was born.
A decade later, in 1112, the young Henry, then only twelve, first encountered George, a man of twenty-seven, at the Kent court — an early meeting that would later bear significance.
By 1115, Ingrid Olavsdottir, at eighteen, was wed to Gregory Harrington, a man twelve years her senior. The following year, 1116, marked the birth of Marion Selby and John Harrington. Marion, daughter of Master Selby — a widower and Guardian of the western frontier — grew up with five brothers.
In 1117, Jonah himself was born, joining his sister Yaya. A year later, in 1118, Astrid Harrington and Nicholas Stuartson came into the world, while in 1121, Lily, Astrid’s youngest sister, was born.
The Year 1134 — The Turning Point
A cascade of intertwined events marked the spring of 1134.Ik hed een spraak pro
On April 15th, Astrid spent the morning with friends on the beach while Jonah watched silently from the clifftop. That same day, Henry of Redwood arrived in town, and the Harrington family gathered for lunch. A journey to London followed, but the night ended in chaos: a raid swept through, leading to kidnappings and a hurried flight toward West Drayton.
The 16th of April brought further movement as the captives were transported westward, eventually reaching the fort. The following days, April 17th–18th, carried them through Amersham and finally to White Fort.
Meanwhile, on April 19th, William and Nicholas visited the Luton Priory, hinting at threads of wider political and spiritual intrigue.
From April 24th to 26th, the Dinali Tribe revealed themselves in their remote mountain village among the Towers. After a tense encounter and flight, Mallory and his companions stumbled upon Astrid again at the Cascades on April 26th.
The group then found refuge from April 28th to May 5th in Sina town, under the hospitality of Chen, whose community thrived on the silk trade. Their respite was short-lived: by May 5th–6th, the party reached the Darkwater Oasis.
Finally, on May 7th, they arrived in Upavon — a place where crucial decisions were made that would shape the course of their lives and the fate of Harbour City.
Epilogue
Thus closed the tale of Harbour City: Midland. But the story did not end there — a new chapter awaited in its sequel, Harbour City: Perris.
