Harbour Cities I – Midland
The choices we make define our lives. 1034 AE (After Exodus)
On a sunny day in April, an unnamed young man watches a beautiful girl dive into the sea. She has sneaked out for an illicit trip to the beach below the mighty towers of Harrington House. This visit sets off a whole train of events, leaving her far from home and damaged beyond repair.
On her flight through Midland, she finds new friends. One is a young man who will sacrifice everything because he feels responsible for her predicament. The other is a wise ex-warrior monk who guides them through this cruel land.
While persecuted by Midland’s vicious ruler, they travel through the Badlands, cross the Dark Towers and find help in Sinatown.
Arriving at their final destination, difficult choices have to be made.
Harbour Cities Perris
Henry knows better than to try to understand why Astrid is so on edge. Women, young or old, were impossible to deal with. Whatever you do or say, they will find something to get upset about. He should’ve learned by now not to try and reason with one.
He set off in the direction of the Guilds District.
His old mentor in Scotia had shown him where he could find the kind of shops to get the parts he needed for his experiments. He had told him about the stall of a certain Mama Wawa. She had shown him how to get to those stores the first time he went to see her. Henry had visited her every time he was in London to see if new items had come in.
It didn’t take long before he heard the by-now familiar loud voice: “Welcome to Mama Wawa’s business central! Looking for a nice scarf for your woman, goggles that will keep out the brightest rays, tested in the Britton deserts, sweets for your children, fruit juices from every berry in the known world, and whatever else you need? You will find it here”.
