My Harbour City story volume is doing a George.RR.Martin. It takes ages to finish. The problem is me researching my extensive historical library and then getting caught up with that. Often when I read a really good book such as A gentleman in Moscow or Commonwealth I despair of ever writing something remotely readable, but when I read a really bad book it stops me in my tracks even more thinking ,hoping that my story will not be so badly written.
